Deaf Artist | Animator | Storyteller | ASL Visual Clarity & Deaf Character Consultant

Hi! I’m Destiny.

Hi! I’m Destiny (Sakeozo). I’m a Deaf artist and animator. I make comics, animations, and illustrations that prioritize visual storytelling and Deaf perspectives.

I live between Pittsburgh, PA and Portland, OR.

I’ve been freelancing for nearly two decades, carving out my own opportunities when the industry doors weren’t open to me. When I join a project, I bring Deaf cultural authenticity, accessibility, immersion, and inclusion to the table, because we all deserve better.

Outside of work, I’m hanging with my cat and three little silly geckos, hunting down good food, sipping matcha, or enjoying music (preferably metal or electronic) with my one cochlear implant. I love collecting cute things, raw crystals, bugs (especially moths!!), and taking photos while frolicking in nature.
